1. Technologies and Current Status
The categories below explain the technologies used by GlobalSalaryTax and show the current status of each one.
Purpose: Stores your privacy preference choices on this device so they remain in effect.
Purpose: Saves your language and display choices on this device. You can change this setting at any time in Privacy Preferences.
Purpose: The U.S. and China calculators can each save up to five recent calculations on your device, including calculator inputs and results, so you can review them later. These records remain on your device until you delete individual calculations or clear browser site data.
Purpose: Cloudflare Web Analytics collects page usage and performance information without using cookies. It operates separately from Google Analytics, so your Google Analytics choice does not affect it.
Purpose: Cloudflare Turnstile verifies newsletter signup requests and protects the service from spam and abuse. It processes limited browser, device, and network signals. This can include a visitor’s IP address.
Purpose: Google Analytics measures website usage, traffic sources, and page performance. It loads only after you allow analytics in Privacy Preferences. If you withdraw consent, GlobalSalaryTax stops loading Google Analytics and removes the Google Analytics cookies it can identify, including _ga and cookies beginning with _ga_.
GlobalSalaryTax does not use advertising cookies, personalized advertising, advertising measurement tools, Hotjar, session recordings, or heatmaps.
2. Manage Your Choices
You can open Privacy Preferences from the footer to review or update your choices. Display Preferences controls whether language and display choices are saved on this device. The Google Analytics setting applies only to Google Analytics. Neither setting affects essential browser storage, Cloudflare Web Analytics, Cloudflare Turnstile security checks, or saved calculator history.
